The Brain Injury Association of Alberta presents Helping with the Grief of Chronic Conditions facilitated by Dr. Nancy Reeves.  Chronic conditions such as Acquired & Traumatic Brain Injury, Parkinson's, MS, Alzheimer Disease, etc., mean many unwanted changes and loss to people affected by their specific condition, as well as those who love them.  In this workshop, we will explore the process of adjustment to chronic conditions and working with complicated aspects such as guilt, various practical helping strategies, and suggestions to prevent helper/caregiver burnout.
